Vermont Soy’s soymilks are made fresh each week. This means they lightly pasteurize their milk, which insures a safe product with a 21-day shelf life. Most soymilks are Ultra High Temperature Pasteurized: this allows soymilk to last on the shelf for 1 year! Vermont Soy makes homemade, great tasting soymilks, and because they are less processed than other soymilks, you get full nutritional benefits. All of the ingredients in Vermont Soy’s soymilks are premium-organic and pure. Vermont Soy takes pride in sourcing premium ingredients, some of which are ForesTrade, and their beans are non-GMO. Their soymilk ingredients are pure and simple. Vermont Soy partners with Vermont farmers to grow organic and non-GMO soybeans. This helps to minimize their carbon footprint, and more importantly, gives farmers opportunity to make a viable living in Vermont. Vermont Soy treasures Vermont’s Farming heritage and agricultural lands. Plus, they use #2 recyclable bottles that are made in Vermont! Vermont Soy and Eclectic Music Productions share many of the same values – we’re excited for Vermont Soy’s presence at Liberate- and check out their smoothie bicycle in the vending area!!

American Flatbread is a return to bread's roots, an endeavor not to mass-produce bread but to explore the possibility of how good bread can be. American Flatbread began as an experiment in post-modern bread baking. They have reached back to the very beginning of bread baking and used the same methods; simple wholesome ingredients shaped by hands of thoughtful caring people baked in a primitive wood-fired earthen oven. Using primarily local ingredients American Flatbread feels more like a home than a restaurant which is something that we welcome any time. Thank you for your support American Flatbread!

Red Hen is made up of about 24 full and part-time employees who work, collectively, 364 days a year. When Red Hen restocks their racks with fresh bread, all of yesterday's bread is gathered and distributed to local food shelves and farms – they insist that they want their bread to fill bellies, not landfills! Red Hen also firmly believes that food doesn't have to be elaborate to be excellent. They share a conviction that beauty and joy are essential to a full life, and they certainly practice their craft to that end. Red Hen Bakery uses only organic ingredients because they support sustainable, organic methods of growing food, because they believe these ingredients are superior in quality, and ultimately, because they believe that these ingredients just plain make better bread. Whatever Red Hen is doing- we don’t want them to change a thing! Welcome to Liberate Red Hen!

Salsa From the Gut: It all started with a small garden and the challenge of growing chili peppers in the southwest section in the city of Rutland, Vermont—affectionately known as "The GUT". Despite a lot of trial and error, a short growing season, and the forces of nature, they were successful.
They wanted to make a salsa with my own personal touch. A thick, chunky garden style salsa that wouldn't fall off of the chip, and have a full burst of flavor with every bite. Once you try their salsa, you will see that they were very successful. One of the best salsas that you will find in a jar anywhere!
