Green Team, Street Team, Production, Operational and Online Volunteers:

We are reaching out to aid our green, street team, promotional, and production volunteer effort. If you are interested in being a part of this year's Liberate Festival then please read on! A good way to help out even if you don’t want to volunteer would be to add us as your friend on MySpace. All volunteers will receive a free ticket, meals, snacks, artist exposure, and various other hospitalities. Now here’s what we're looking for:

Green Team: Help keep the Liberate atmosphere clean and green. Duties include: passing out recycling/trash bags at the surrounding festival grounds, picking up waste, monitoring on-site recycling stations, composting, and promoting awareness. This can be done while, for the most part, you enjoy the festival just as you normally would. Spend some time keeping Liberate and the Bundy Center green and get your ticket for free! Go Green!

Street Team: These nice folks will plaster our cool posters at neighborhood coffee shops, live-music venues, billboards, in windows, and more. We'll also be sending out handbills you can pass to your buddies at shows or just when you’re living the day as normal. A listing of locations to poster and venues/events that we’d like to promote our festival at will be available.

Online Volunteers: These people will complement and assist our operations on MySpace and Facebook, as well as expanding our email distribution list. Log into our account and find hip people with good taste that live in the geographical region of New England! This position has lots of room to be creative- creating cool e-flyers, etc. This position is neat because you can really help out and score a free ticket while essentially just surfing the web.

Production Volunteers: Do you like sound equipment, stage lighting, and working with the big stuff? This job might be for you. We will need able bodied stage loaders to move and set-up equipment, runners to assist the artist management, and others for general assistance. These positions will receive tickets and likely get a lot of artist exposure and interaction. Respect for the artists will be a must- these positions should be hard work and fun!

Operational Volunteers: These positions include walk-through of the festival grounds, greeting our guests, parking cars, and more. These positions are neat because you can really help out at the beginning of or for small durations during the festival. You’ll be free to enjoy the festival for the rest of the time- and you’ll get your ticket for free!

If any of these positions speak to you, please get in touch with me at Ben@empvt.com.

Don't forget to hit us up on MySpace!
